HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Last Saturday, Hartford was the site of the Connecticut Voice Honors Ceremony, an event dedicated to honoring members and supporters of the LGBTQ+ community in the state. News 8’s Dennis House served as the emcee for the evening.

The ceremony saw the recognition of individuals and allies who have made significant contributions to advancing LGBTQ+ rights and equality in Connecticut.

Among the attendees was Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz, who accepted an award on behalf of Governor Lamont in recognition of his support for LGBTQ initiatives and advocacy.
