SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, November 24, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Many self-serve restaurants are opening around the country. From sandwiches to ice cream, customers are putting together meals with their own hands. Jared Hadaway has noticed this trend and thought of an idea that could become popular.

"Why not combine two loves when it comes to food?" asks Hadaway. "Those two loves are making your food while out, and pizza."

This idea is still in the planning phase, but Hadaway hopes to speak with potential investors and developers in the coming months. While there may be pizza shops that use this idea, it's not a national level. A potential national chain specializing in this unique approach is where Hadaway wants to start.

Love For Pizza Drives Idea For Business Plan

"I've always had a love for pizza," Hadaway explains. "Being able to customize your meal with toppings and different crusts is exciting, especially during a night out. Something so simple as a pizza can bring an evening together."

The love for pizza by Americans is very high. The options for restaurants offering the Italian favorite can be overwhelming at times. Along with the original pizza chains, smaller businesses are fighting for a piece of the pie.

Hadaway wants to use his love for pizza as a driving force in creating this unique business idea. He knows it will take time and effort even to get the idea off the ground, but he is devoting time and energy to making sure that happens.

"I'm just in the idea stage," Hadaway is quick to state. "This all written on random pieces of paper and napkins. I want to take these ideas and draw out a unique business plan."

Customers Control Their Pizza

What is excellent about Hadaway's idea is that a customer can walk into his pizza shop and control any possible pizza option. From the type of crust to the toppings to the dipping sauces, it's all up to the customer.

"It should resemble a salad bar, but with pizza toppings," explains Hadaway. "You want extra sausage? Do it. Do you want just veggies? Pile them on."

Customers pick what kind of crust they would like their pizza to have. From pan to thin to original, the customer is in control. They can watch their dough molded into what they desire, but instead of the chef making the pizza, the customer does the building.

The dough is given to the customers, and then they can go down the pizza bar to add sauce, cheese, and toppings. Hundreds of combinations of different toppings are available to customers. With multiple types of cheeses, meats, and vegetables, the options for the pizza are endless.

Adding Fun To A Night Out Of Pizza

"Instead of going out to a pizza shop and sitting there waiting for your food, I wanted to add fun to the process," Hadaway says.

The idea of letting customers build their pizza gives a sense of accomplishment, but also a night of entertainment. It allows the customers engage in a dining experience unlike any other.

After the customer decides on their toppings, they give the oven-ready pizza back to the chef. The pizza goes into the oven, and the customer can then choose on drinks and dipping sauces. By the time the customer sits at a table, the pizza is ready.

"You get to build a pizza and enjoy it within minutes," says Hadaway. "What restaurant can give you a fun night out and let you be in control and hands-on with your food? No many places."

The idea still needs work and adjusting. But Hadaway has shared the plan with friends, and they believe he is on to something. Hadaway hopes he can see his idea come to fruition in the near future.
